UFO Hearing Puts Alien Cover-Up Allegations In The Congressional Record

The US government has been collecting samples of unknown technology and “non-human biologics” for years and by now, Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and others in Congress have the receipts.

That’s all if former intelligence official David Grusch’s testimony Wednesday during a House committee hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAP (a.k.a UFOs), is to be believed.

Some of the more explosive claims about a UFO coverup in the US government to circulate in this century have now been entered into the Congressional record by a witness testifying under oath. And Grusch promised to hand over details, including people and places to check for evidence of his claims, to Ocasio-Cortez and other legislators.

Grusch previously worked with a Defense Department task force investigating UAP and Wednesday he told the House Oversight subcommittee that he had learned of a “multidecade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program.”

While Grusch was made aware of the program, he also said he was not allowed access to any details about it.

Former Navy pilots Ryan Graves and David Fravor also testified, detailing first-hand encounters with UAP.

The testimony revealed little that has not already been discussed publicly, either in the media or in previous hearings. Grusch frequently made reference to his appearance on NewsNation last month. When pressed for details or specifics, he repeatedly told committee members that he could not provide details or could only provide more information in a closed environment.

When Ocasio-Cortez asked Grusch where she might look for more details about the explosive claims, he offered to provide her a list of names and places at the conclusion of the hearing.

A Resurgence In The Search For The Truth Out There

Disclosures involving UAP and UFOs have really ramped up in the past decade. Previous hearings have seen government officials explain away some sightings essentially as optical illusions or technological glitches, while acknowledging that others remain unexplained.

Some sort of advanced technology is often floated as an explanation for UAP sightings, attributed either to domestic programs foreign adversaries like China or even extra-terrestrial intelligence of some sort.

Grusch’s testimony would seem to give a bit more credence to the alien or “non-human origin” explanation.

That said, it’s all a bit frustrating to have such spectacular testimony from an eyewitness unwilling to provide anything in the way of detail or corroboration, while also admitting that his claims are all second-hand and based on conversations with others with more direct knowledge and experience.

Wednesday’s session didn’t yield anything close to an alien smoking gun, but it did manage the impressive feat of cultivating bi-partisan agreement to call for more transparency and disclosure around the topic of UAPs.

Such disclosure may be on the way. Earlier this week, a bi-partisan amendment to a defense spending bill was introduced that would declassify records related to UAP and UFOs.
