Magmo Pro Digital Recorder Can Record iPhone Calls Automatically

Mune Corporation has announced the launch of the Magmo Pro, a new digital recording device for capturing conversations and phone calls. The Magmo Pro has two MEMS microphones for clarity and noise-canceling technology to cut unwanted background sounds.

The makers of the Magmo Pro have issued a press release and claim that the device can capture every nuance of a conversation, thanks to the MEMs microphone array. The microphones have explicitly been positioned around the Magmo Pro for “optimal performance so that recordings have an immersive quality.”

The use of MEMS microphones enables the Magmo Pro to capture audio from multiple directions making the recorder suitable for recording interviews, business negotiations or simply keeping an audio record of personal phone calls. There are no ongoing subscriptions with the service and the device is MagSafe compatible for use with Apple iPhones.

The Magmo Pro has several handy functions, such as auto-record, instant playback and has a simplified way of managing stored audio files. Settings and files are accessed using the Magmo Pro’s smartphone companion app. Phone calls are recorded alongside the caller ID as well as the date and time of the call.

In addition to its extensive recording capabilities and organizational tools, the Magmo Pro features an enhanced rechargeable 500mAh battery for recording sessions of up to 11 hours. The battery can be recharged using a standard USB-C cable. At just 7mm thick, the Magmo Pro is slim enough to attach to the rear of a MagSafe iPhone without adding bulk.

The sleek device makes it easy to take anywhere and blends in well with Apple’s iPhone styling. The makers of the Magma Pro claim that it is likely to be popular with journalists who need to capture interviews and legal practitioners who need to collate evidence for cases or make verbal notes when researching. Individuals can also use the phone call recording feature to keep track of important calls, settle disputes or keep an archive of important calls and meetings.

Pricing & Availability: The Magmo Pro has been launched on Kickstarter and the campaign runs for another couple of weeks. As with all crowdfunding launches, it’s wise to do due diligence before committing to a product. The Magmo Pro can be preordered via Kickstarter and is initially priced at $109.
