Eva Elfie To Add OnlyFans Cash To ‘Dota 2’ International Prize Pool

Influencer Eva Elfie has announced her intention to add whatever money she makes from OnlyFans over the next few days to the prize pool for The International 12 Dota 2 tournament, which takes place this weekend.

In a post on Instagram, Eva Elfie revealed that she will be attending The International, as she did last year, and that she has decided to try and increase the prize pool this year. After years of The International having record-breaking prize pools in the millions, this year a change in funding mechanism has seen the prize pool be at its lowest in 10 years. The current prize pool is just over $3.1 million, a long way off the $40 million given away in 2021.

Eva mentioned that she had heard that TI12 had been somewhat disappointing so far, so is doing her bit to make it better for players and fans. For the pros, the winning team will be getting any money she makes from OnlyFans from today to the end of the tournament on Sunday. For the fans, she will be at the event cheering on the teams and trying to boost the atmosphere.

“All my “Only” 🤍💙 money earned during the event (starting from now) is gonna be added to the prize pool for the TI winners!” said Elfie on Instagram. “I guess it’s a much better way to spend 10 bucks than buying a compendium with no items in it 🤔”

Eva’s post makes reference to the fact that many players have been left disappointed with the compendium in-game item which is being used to crowdfund the prize pool for The International 12.

In recent years the Battle Pass has been used for this and has featured custom game modes, lots of cosmetics and a deep progression system that encourages players to spend more, thus adding to the prize pool. However, this year it has been replaced with a Compendium which doesn’t have cosmetics, custom game modes or much in the way of progression. While fans were warned this year’s system would be different, few expected it to be quite as underwhelming as it has been, leading to the low prize pool.

Despite the low prize pool the tournament so far has been a massive improvement on last year. Things have ran smoothly and the in game action has been great. With just three days of action left in the competition eight teams remain to battle it out to become Dota 2 world champions. You will be able to watch all of the action across the weekend on Twitch and other streaming platforms.
