Marshall Reveals New True Wireless Earbuds With Better Noise Canceling

One of the best-known music brands is launching the first pair of true wireless earbuds since the company merged with Zounds Industries to create the Marshall Group. Marshall Amplification has been making guitar amplifiers since the early 1960s and is possibly one of the most iconic brands in the music industry.

Since 2006, Marshall has had an agreement with Stockholm-based Zounds Industries to develop and market a range of Bluetooth speakers and headphones bearing the famous Marshall logo. Now, the two companies are one and the innovation continues with this brand-new pair of true wireless earbuds.

The Marshall Motif II A.N.C. offers up to 30 hours of playtime between charges and the earbuds can play for 10 hours on a single charge before they need to be put back in their charging case for more juice. With active noise cancellation turned on, the Motif II A.N.C can play for up to six hours before they need a top-up.

The new earbuds have what Marshall claims is an improved ANC (active noise cancelation) function for blocking unwanted sounds like aircraft engines or road noise. With ANC turned on, it’s possible to eliminate most of the annoying and unwanted sounds from a crowded train or a busy road. ANC lets the listener focus on the music or podcast playing.

The Motif II A.N.C. earbuds also feature a Transparency mode that lets some of the external sound blend with the music playing, enabling the listener to hear any hazards or listen out for travel announcements they might otherwise miss with the ANC turned on.

Marshall says the Motif II A.N.C. delivers a robust wireless connection thanks to being Bluetooth LE Audio-ready. The technology serves up high-quality audio while increasing the streaming range and improving audio sync, which is especially helpful when watching movies or playing games.

In a press release issued to mark the release of the Motif II A.N.C., Marshall says the earbuds also have improved battery preservation, while the charging case and earbuds are made using 70% post-consumer recycled plastic recovered from used electronics, water bottles and car light lenses.

Pricing & Availability: The Marshall Motif II A.N.C. will be available globally from September 12, 2023 and will be priced at $199 / £179.99 / €199.
