New Quests Added To ‘Escape From Tarkov’ In The 13.5.1 Patch Notes

Battlestate Games has revealed the patch notes for Escape From Tarkov update 0.13.5.1 and there are some brand new quests being added to the game as well as expansions to existing quest lines.

There isn’t too much info on what the new quests are, as the patch is currently being deployed to live servers so no one has actually been able to play the game to find out. However, the patch notes reveal that multiple new quests have been added to Escape From Tarkov, and that existing quest lines have been expanded. There is no word on if the expansions are simply the new quests being added to certain quest lines, or if old quests have been reworked as well.

The 13.5.1 patch also includes a number of UI and quality-of-life improvements. The first comes to the weapon present list, which will now display available presets for your selected weapon.

However, the two that you will probably care about much more fix a couple of incredibly annoying issues from the last wipe patch. First off you can now hide the old, intermediate, trader screen as you can now switch between traders in their shop UI making the old screen redundant. And you can now configure the use of consumables on double clicks, which was a change made in the last patch and resulted in me eating a ton of food I didn’t mean to!

The majority of the patch notes are bug fixes, which will no doubt please a lot of people who have been reporting a ton of bugs since the recent wipe. Finally there appears to be a fix for the issue loading into Streets of Tarkov for many players, especially when they play as a Scav. Personally, I have not been able to play Streets of Tarkov at all this wipe because of the issue, so I am excited to see if this actually works or if I will never be able to play the map again unless I upgrade my PC.

There are also a lot of visual and environmental fixes for Streets of Tarkov, while the only other map change is to fix the landmine explosions on Lighthouse. Outside of the maps most of the bug fixes are specific to rare occurrences, some quests that were bugged such as Knock-Knock and Getting Acquainted have been fixed and there are a lot of fixes to scav issues including getting less money than you should for selling to fence and not being told that you left items on your scav after a raid.

Since the last wipe Escape From Tarkov has been in a pretty good place, although I am getting burnt out a lot quicker than in previous wipes. Hopefully, the new quests will be added to different levels, meaning I’ll have something new to do instead of the content just being added to the players who are already at really high levels.
