Larissa Pacheco showed why she is the reigning PFL Women’s Featherweight champion on Friday night in New York City.
It only took 14 seconds for Pacheco to score a resounding KO win over Olena Kolesnyk in the co-main event of the PFL Playoffs semifinals.
Take a look at the decisive finish.
Pacheco is as hot as any fighter in the sport. She isn’t just the reigning PFL Women’s Featherweight champion poised to defend her title in November, Pacheco is also on an eight-fight win streak.
Pachecho will now face Marina Mokhnatkina in the final and with a chance to become the promotion’s first-ever repeat champion.
Mokhnatkina scored her own first-round finish on Friday night with a submission victory over Amber Leibrock. Pachecho has now defeated Kolesnyk three times without a defeat, and she had just knocked Leibrock out in the first round back in June.
Mokhnatkina and Pacheco’s win assures the PFL will have a fresh matchup in this year’s women’s featherweight finale. The night was packed with early finishes as every main card bout ended inside the first five minutes.
If the championship fights have the same sort of finishes, the PFL might wrap up its most memorable session of playoff encounters.
