If you’ve played Tears of the Kingdom for any amount of time, you will have at some point relied upon a hover bike. Well, one fan created their own in miniature and it’s thoroughly amazing.
The most popular Zonai Device hover bike configuration is by combing two Fans and one Steering Stick, with the fans at an angle and the stick placed between them.
The angled fans allow for forward movement and better control of ascent and descent related manoeuvres. However, you need to correctly align the Zonai Devices, otherwise you will have trouble controlling the hover bike.
Once you’ve maxed out your Energy Wells, this hover bike setup is pretty much the go to means by which you can explore Hyrule, its Sky and the spooky Depths. In fact, this hover bike allows you to zoom through the Depths and activate all the Lightroots in double quick time.
All that aside, as the hover bike was something that players discovered on their own, it’s not likely that we will receive any kind of official toys of it any time soon.
That has left to fans to make their own, something that YouTuber and model kit builder extraordinaire qshyj has managed to do.
The 3D printing stuff aside, it’s the immaculate paintjob that is the most impressive thing here, at least for me. However, the addition of green plasticine to “stick” the Zonai Devices together is also inspired genius.
I really hope Nintendo or Good Smile Company see this and make something official, but in the meantime this handmade hover bike is just utterly perfect.
