NZXT Shows Off New Creator PCs For Making And Gaming

I suppose the Venn diagram of gamers and online content creators is pretty close to a uniform circle at this point, as those two worlds naturally share a lot of air and energy. If you’re a Twitch streamer, you’re probably also a YouTuber, and you’re probably also playing Animal Crossing while doing ASMR seafood mukbangs in a hot tub lit by Nanoleaf hexagons…or whatever.

Stylish system integrator NZXT appears to recognize this ongoing convergence, because they’ve now announced a brand new re-introduction of the company’s popular Creator PC line. There are two fresh configurations to choose from: The Creator: One and the Creator: One Prime. These are high-end desktop computers aimed at both hardcore gamers and creative professionals who need serious horsepower for editing and rendering demanding digital content.

Here are the specs for the Creator: One ($4999):

  • H Series H9 Flow Edition ATX Mid Tower Chassis
  • AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5955WX CPU
  • Asrock Creator Motherboard
  • Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU
  • RAM: 64 GB DDR4
  • Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
  • C Series ATX 1200 Watt 80 Plus Gold Full-modular PSU
  • Kraken 360 – 360mm AIO
  • WIN 11 Pro Advance OS

Here are the specs for the Creator: One Prime ($6999):

  • H Series H9 Flow Edition ATX Mid Tower Chassis
  • AMD Ryzen Threadripper 5975WX CPU
  • Asrock Creator Motherboard
  • Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU
  • RAM: 64 GB DDR4
  • Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD
  • C Series ATX 1200 Watt 80 Plus Gold Full-modular PSU
  • Kraken Elite 360 – 360mm AIO
  • Windows 11 Pro Advance OS

Obviously, with a starting point of $5,000, this line of PCs isn’t for people who, let’s say, dabble in PC gaming and creating. Serious enthusiasts and professionals need only apply, it should go without saying. Both models are strikingly similar in terms of features, though stepping up to the Creator: One Prime for a heart attack-inducing $7,000 will snag you an upgraded Threadripper CPU and a more powerful PSU.

It’s a shame NZXT isn’t increasing the RAM to 128GB for that price, but what are you going to do. I’m also a bit disappointed that we’re not seeing DDR5 in these premium builds as well, though I’m guessing it’s strategy to keep the cost from reaching into the actual stratosphere. Definition of ‘stratosphere’ is a moving target these days, I think. What even is money anymore?

It’s looking like you can buy these machines in either matte white or matte black, but from where I’m sitting, that matte white is the clear winner. I’ve covered several NZXT PCs over the years, and they do have a certain aesthetic dominance over other brands. Will these latest Creator PCs have a performance dominance as well? With RTX 4090s and Ryzen Threadrippers, there’s little doubt.

Yeah, you might be able to cobble together a comparable PC for less cash, but NZXT is offering insane specs, sleek looks and zero build hassle for a single (monumental) price. You’ll have to decide if that price is worth it, and if you can eat ramen for the next few months.

Good luck.
